What better day than TAX DAY to start a revolution to make Amerika - AmeriCa again. Today is the beginning of the end for the socialist tyrants in Washington. tongue.gif

The state of Texas, through a bipartisan bill, has decided to act under the 10th Ammendment to the Constitution to take its' rights back that have not been enumerated as a function and or right of the Federal Government. They have drafted a bill stating such and all of the powers usurped from the state by the federal government are reclaimed. Texas is reclaiming its' sovereignity under the 10th ammendment. Governor Perry is right, we the states, have all been like frogs in a pot not noticing the fed has slowly been turning up the hear until it's too late.

The fed, by usurping states rights, have become an oppressive government. They dictate how tax dollars are to be used by the states. That's why many states refuse any money from the fed. The sad thing it is our money.

If this keeps up, and I pray it does, it will again soon be The Free Republic of Texas. smile.gif

I am writing urging the Governor of the State of Louisiana to draft the exact same legislation.

GOD BLESS TEXAS biggrin.gif

I heard on the radio news if Texas decides to secede Chuck Norris said he would run for the first president of the Republic of Texas.

As a side note, when Texas agreed to become part of the US part of the deal was the US government was to pay off all of Texas' debts. The US did NOT. By the terms of the agreement Texas could legally secede from the Union.
