The World Trade Center construction site is shown Friday, Sept. 11, 2009 in New York.

Today marks the eight year anniversary of the attacks on the Pentagon, and the WTC. It also marks a time that had everyone willing to help out in any manner they possibly could.

God Bless all those who have fallen, God Bless America

This is a true story about what I did today:

I was on my way home in the car listening to the radio. They were playing file footage from that day. The shock in the voice of the people covering the tragedy was horrifying all over again. I know this sounds girlish but I actually cried in the car. I mean full on sobbing. Now, I am not a man that cries very often. I barely cried when I lost my grandparents this past year. The memory of that day really struck a cord with me.

It also reminded me why we are in a war right now. I began to get mad and angry after I realized that so many people have forgotten and are actively dismantling the protections that have been put in place.... the same protections that have kept us from being attacked since then.

It's a shame that so many people are so ignorant to reality and so hateful to their own country and it's traditions.

Not only are we fighting terrorist abroad but we are fighting to protect our traditions and customs and the American way of life at home.

If you love this country more than life itself; if you love it even through the bad times in our history; if you will do anything to protect it and you aren't trying to change it into a European socialist state, than you are a true conservative.

B-man,...it is wonderful to see you back!

Strange how a disaster can bring a country together, and then a person of Hope and Change can bring us all back to failure.

I had Old Glory at half staff yesterday. I have not flown the US flag since the 4rth of July. I won't fly it unless it is a special event or holiday. I have been flying my yellow Don't Tread On Me flag in it's place. After this guy gets out of the White House, I will fly it again on a daily basis.

I was watching all the footage on Fox News yesterday, as well as the History Channel's 911 version of what happened 8 years ago. I think everyone should have to see those towers as they were, what happened to them, and the hole in the ground that has looked the same with no progress in erecting the Freedom Tower that they now want to call something very stupid.

Today (12 Sept) is a big day with the TEA Parties everywhere, mainly the one in Washington DC. Glenn Beck will be covering it for 3 hours. Starts at 11 am PT, / 1 pm ET.

Thank you Det. It's good to be back in. It's nice to have an outlet. It's been a rough year. I am slowly getting back in to the swing of things.

I heard someone complaining about a radio station playing a recorded telephone call placed by a victim in one of the towers. I guess it was graphic and the person was pleading for her life.

The person telling me this was angry at the radio station for playing it.

I quickly told her that every person in this country should hear that call so they don't forget why we are fighting.

Right on!

Yesterday was a sad day for me, I kept things pretty quiet and did a lot of thinking. Today, I find myself in a kind of celebration knowing we have a TV leader out there, he is Glenn Beck.
