Here is the picture, the conflict in Iraq is done and over with, the Iraqi government is standing on it's own and all is well there.

What do you think the USA will do next? What do you THINK the USA should do next?

As for me,..I don't think we will see terrorism, or countries that support terror go away without our continuous battle to take them out. With our efforts, we already have made North Korea, and Libya sit down and be good just by our show of force (in my opinion). I see either the USA or Israel fighting Iran here soon. I don't want this, but I do think it will happen.

spend lots more money on developing tactical doctrin on asymetrical warfare, as well as training centers, weapons training in small group actions,high speed stealth personal delivery systems.

Electronic as well as Humint on suspected terrorist leaders, with the intent of termination.

I think we should elect a Democrat into office. Bring all our troops home. Do nothing for the next 8 years with respect to fighting terrorist. Sit back and let all the terrorist recoup and gain strength for their next attack while we hand out Nobel Peace prizes to the democrat party.

8 years B-man? I don't think that Americans will tolerate all the homeland bloodshed that long. Let's say 4 years,...that is if she is not assassinated first!

You are wrong. Democrats won't sit back and do "nothing." They just won't invade the wrong countries.

They won't call attention to th war on terror, they will fight it without the whole world knowing.

You don't fight terrorism by invading countries. You don't fight terrorism by creating terrorists.

You fight terrorism by using diplomacy and FORCE. Not diplomacy with the terrorists, but diplomacy with other nations in the Middle East. Meanwhile you send in covert ops to blow up their bases.

Last I checked, 9/11 happened under a republican administration. 9/11 would have never happened under Gore. He would have met with his anti-terrorism experts before the first year of his administration. He would have looked at documents. He would have used his brain instead of just flexing his muscle and saying, "i'm a cowboy."

Brains are what we need in the white house now.... no more republican cowboys. Give me a president who knows what "critical thinking" is.

The best way prevent attacks is not to give anyone reason to attack us.

I don't know where you guys are getting this notion that the Democrats want to sit back and do nothing. Most of them voted for the Iraq war and still support us having troops there. The Democrats are much more similar to the Republicans than you give them credit for...
